Solo Show of Works by the People’s Artist of Russia Anatoly Lyubavin in the Russian Center for Science and Art in Paris

Fr om 12-19 February, 2016 within the program of promotion of Russian academic art education the Russian Center for Science and Art presents a solo exhibition of works by the People’s Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Rector of V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute Anatoly Lyubavin.

The program includes an opening ceremony on February 16, 2016 and a master class of the artist in painting on February 17, 2016.  

Anatoly Lyubavin is a noted master of Russian contemporary art, the Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize, holder of the Diploma and the II Prize of the International Competition of Young Artists of the USSR and Czechoslovakia “Our Contemporary”, the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts and many other awards.

He was born on February 13, 1956 in Podolsk, graduated from the Art College Named after the Year of 1905, the Graphic Department of V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute wh ere he studied under N.A. Ponomarev, N.L. Voronkov, B.A. Uspensky, A. B. Yakushin, later he upgraded his skills at the Creative Workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts under O.G. Vereisky.

The artist is well known for his graphic series, these are “Moscow Motifs”, “My Family”, “Talk  about Moscow”, “Autumn Dream”,  etc. His colorful canvases full of the sensation of beauty and harmony leave no one indifferent.
