Exhibition of Works by Finalists of the ARTPREVIEW 2011 Competition in Tsereteli Art Gallery
Tsereteli Art Gallery presents paintings, graphic works, photographs by finalists of the ARTPREVIEW 2011 Competition. On show are 60 works by artists from almost all the regions of Russia and 15 other countries. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The expert commission includes:
Andrey Tolstoy – Doctor of Art History, Deputy Director for Research Work of A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Deputy Chief Editor of “Pinacoteca” magazine
Konstantin Khudyakov – Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, President of the Artists’ Creative Union of Russia
Tatyana Kurtanova – art historian, one of the founders and Director-General of “FotoLoft” Gallery
Natella Voiskunskaya, art historian, co-editor of “The Tretyakov Gallery” magazine, founder and Director of ASTI Gallery, Director of the “Grany (Facets)” Foundation, art director of Art-November Festival
Olga Kostina – PhD in Art History, Chief Editor of “Russian Art” magazine.
The ARTPREVIEW 2011 is the first in Russia competition in contemporary art open to artists who are not much involved in the exhibition activity and are little known to a wide public. This is one more venue for discovering new names and a good opportunity for artists from various regions to win a reputation in the professional audience.
