Arts and Sciences Association: Art and Documentary Exhibition in Honor of the 285th Anniversary of the Academy of Sciences and Arts

Arranged  by the Russian Academy of Arts and Russian Academy of Sciences,  the exhibition in the exhibition hall of the Archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, 34 Novocheremushkinskaya street, has been timed to the 285th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences and Arts founded by Peter I in 1724 and the Day of Russian Science.

Almost a quarter of the century,  the Russian science and art developed within the framework of  the single Academy. On its basis, the Academy of Three Noble Arts was established in St. Petersburg by the Senate Edict on November 6, 1757.
