The Creative Artists’ Union of Russia under the auspices of the Culture Ministry of Russia presents an exhibition of the 6th All-Russian Forum “ART- Studio XXI”, that will give young artists from various regions of Russia a rare opportunity to reveal themselves in the team work under the leadership of recognized masters of fine arts including Academicians, Corresponding Members, Honorary Members of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA). On display will be almost 120 paintings, graphic sheets, sculptures, works of photo and digital art, as well as art installations. This year, the project will be implemented in six creative workshops to be headed by celebrated artists and curators. These are:
“THE PROJECTION OF THE INTERNAL TO THE EXTERNAL” - supervisor Sergey Ossovsky, Academician and Member of the RAA Presidium, Honored Art Worker of Russia, Head of the Workshop of V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute;
“REALITY THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS – supervisor Sergey Gavrilyachenko, the People’s Artist of Russia, Corresponding Member of the RAA, Secretary of the Artists’ Union of Russia, art theorist, publicist, professor, holder of many honors, orders and awards;
“REPRODUCTION PROHIBITED - – supervisor Evgenia Voronova, Dean and Senior Teacher of the Graphic Art Department of V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts;
“PROBLEMS OF INVERSION” – supervisor the Honorary Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Pierre Brochet, organizer of contemporary art exhibitions, curator of “The Curatorship and Art Management” profile, curator of the Contemporary Art Section in the Design School of the Higher School of Economics, TV presenter of Russia-K Channel;
THE INTERIOR SPACE. IDYLL AND ILLUSION” – supervisor Mikhail Gavryushkov, curator, designer, PhD in Engineering, Member of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia, Winner of K.S. Petrov-Vodkin Prize of the “Red Gates/Against the Current” project, Winner of the “Golden Harlequin” theatrical prize;
