On June 28, 2024 the celebrated Chinese artist, the Foreign Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts is marking his 80th anniversary. The President of the Russian Academy of Arts has congratulated the Chinese Master on his Jubilee. The Letter of Greetings, in particular, runs:

It is especially significant, that in 2024 – the Cross Year of Russian and Chinese Culture – for your great contribution to strengthening of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the peoples of Russia and China you have been awarded the Russian Order of Friendship. In your work you also focus on the environment protection and the theme of interaction between a human and nature. The Russian Academy of Arts knows you as an author of numerous portraits and sculptural images of noted political figures and eminent personalities of many countries and highly appreciates your devotion to building bridges between various cultures.
