At the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts on July 7, 2021 the Agreement on Cooperation between the Russian Military and Historical Society and the Russian Academy of Arts was signed by the Assistant to the Russian President, Chairman of the Russian Military and Historical Society Vladimir R. Medinsky and the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab K. Tsereteli.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Culture Department of the City of Moscow, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) Alexander V. Kibovsky; Deputy Chairman of the Russian Military and Historical Society Nickolai P. Ovsienko; Director of the Cultural Heritage Department of the Russian Military and Historical Society Alexey V. Kondratiev; Head of the Office of the Assistant to the Russian President Elena S. Podobreevskaya; President of the National Association of Developers of Russia, Chief Architect of Mosproject-2 Mickhail M. Posokhin; Rector of the Moscow Institute of Architecture, President of the Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences Dmitry O. Shvidkovsky; the First Vice-President of the RAA Victor G. Kalinin; the Chief Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of the RAA Oleg A. Koshkin; Vice-Presidents of the RAA: Vasily Z. Tsereteli, Andrey A. Zolotov, Tatyana A. Kochemasova, Manana V. Popova; Members of the Presidium of the RAA: Andrey N. Kovalchuk, Salavat A. Scherbakov; members of the Academy Office.
The Agreement is aimed at uniting efforts in the implementation of creative projects in the field of arts and architecture. The Expert Advisory Art Council is planned to be set up under the supervision of the Russian Academy of Arts. The Agreement also includes joint activity relating to commemoration of the feats of defenders of the Fatherland, as well as cultural traditions of this country.
