The Russian Academy Of Arts

The  Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INION RAS), the Russian Academy of Arts, Russian State University for the Humanities, GITR Film and Television School and MPRH Institute (Tehran, Iran) invite you to take part in the 4th International Research Conference “Geography of Art” that will take place at the Russian Academy of Arts (21 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on March 29-30, 2018.

The Conference deals with the territorial peculiarities  and problems of culture and art, reflection of the geographical space in art, the role of territorial factors in shaping art schools and artworks. Of special emphasis will be such themes as artistic perception of the cultural landscape,  significance of art in the formation of  the cultural landscape and the image of the territory, space concept in artworks.
The Conference will be accompanied by publication of the collected papers “Geography of Art”.

Please, send your application and summary of the paper till January 15, 2018 to olgalavr@mail.ru (mail to: olgalavr@mail.ru).  The time limit of papers – 20 minutes. You will be advised on your inclusion into the Conference Program
