Presentation of the New Sculptural Portrait from My Contemporaries Series by Zurab Tsereteli

On May 17, 2016 in the Apple Hall of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts (19 Prechistenka street, Moscow) there was a presentation of the sculptural portrait of Polad Byulbyul Ogly from My Contemporaries series by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli.
The ceremony was attended by Polad Byulbyul Ogly - the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic to the Russian Federation; Zurab Tsereteli - the People’s Artist of Russia, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and author of the sculpture; representatives of the diplomatic corps in Moscow.
My Contemporaries series created by Zurab Tsereteli includes sculptural portraits of eminent Russian and international figures of culture, science, literature, music, theater and cinema of the 20th century and these days.
