From Alpha to Omega in the Artist’s Space: Solo Show of Works by Andrey Esionov in Tsereteli Art Gallery

The Russian Academy of Arts presents a major solo show of Andrey Esionov to be on display in Tsereteli Art Gallery from December 5-14, 2014. Andrey Esionov is a painter, brilliant graphic artist, recognized master of portrait and cityscape.
The artist’s creative work is distinguished by his constant search for new means of expression and bold experiments with a pictorial form. Diverse in stylistics canvases included in the exposition attest to the peculiar figuratively-plastic thinking of the artist having an original creative style. Andrey Esionov’s recent preferences are large canvases depicting the most urgent problems of our existence. The position of a dispassionate observer allows the artist to express his unprejudiced attitude to significant problems of Russian history and Russian cultural tradition.
