Within the Days of Bulgarian Spiritual Culture in Russia to be held from November 18 – 25, 2012, at the award ceremony in the Bolshoi Theater, on November 18, 2012 the highest award of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture “The Golden Century” was presented to the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli and Director-General of the Bolshoi Theater Anatoly Iksanov.

The Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vejdi Rashidov highly appreciated their significant role in the promotion of Bulgarian culture and intercultural dialogue between Russia and Bulgaria.

“The Golden Century” award was set up in 2004.
