Memorial Plaque Commemorating the First Director-General of AvtoVAZ Company Victor Polyakov Was Unveiled in Moscow

On December 20, 2010 a memorial plaque commemorating the first Director-General of AvtoVAZ Company, Minister of Automobile Industry of the USSR (1975-1986), Hero of Socialist Labor Victor Polyakov was unveiled on the house where he had lived in Moscow, 6 Kholzunov Lane. The memorial plaque has been designed by the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, sculptor Philip Rukavishnikov in partnership with the architect Michael Korsy.
