On celebration of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts

    On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts to be marked in 2007 I decree:

1. To approve a proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts in 2007.
2. The Government of the Russian Federation within a period of three months shall:
- Set up an Organizing Committee on preparation and celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts;
- Approve a Program of Preparation and Activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts.
3. To recommend the state authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation to participate in preparation and activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts.
