The Russian Academy Of Arts

M. Vrubel Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts hosts a solo show of Zurab Tsereteli, the People’s Artist of the USSR and Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. The exhibition features almost one hundred works of the world renowned artist including his recent paintings and graphic works.

Zurab Tsereteli is a master who by his creative searches combines nearly all types, genres and techniques of fine arts. His talent has brilliantly revealed itself in major architectural and sculptural complexes, majestic monuments, beautiful enamels, mosaics, stained glasses, bronze reliefs, round sculpture, paintings, graphic works. The solo show in Omsk presents Tsereteli’s “universe” – the world of his fantasies, reflections, recollections executed with unique emotionality and craftsmanship.
