The Russian Academy Of Arts

On March 19, 2008 the working group of the Russian Academy of Arts and V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute headed by Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Anatoli Bichukov visited Kazan to meet with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Culture Z. Valeeva and negotiate the establishment of an affiliate of V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute in the capital of Tatarstan. The affiliate is planned to embody four departments: sculpture; painting; graphic art and art restoration. The entrance examinations are due to take place in July, 2008.
