Monument to the Prominent Russian Writer Ivan Bunin
The monument to the prominent Russian writer, Nobel Prize laureate Ivan Bunin was unveiled in Povarskaya street in Moscow on October 22, 2007 in honor of his 137th birth anniversary. The monument has been designed by the Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, Prof. Alexander Burganov.
The dedication ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Lyudmila Shvetsova, Head of the Commission for Culture of the State Duma Joseph Kobzon, Head of the Department for Culture of the Moscow Government S. Khudyakov, other officials as well as relatives of the writer.
