The Russian Academy Of Arts

In order to execute the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation 1009 dated August 31, 2005 “On celebration of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts:
1. An Organizing Committee on preparation and celebration of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts shall be set up.
2. Members of the Organizing Committee on preparation and celebration of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts, as well as Program of Preparation and Activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts shall be approved. 3. Expenses connected with preparation and activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts shall be made from funds allocated from the federal budget to the Russian Academy of Arts and appropriate federal executive bodies, as well as from extra budget sources to be attracted.
4. The Ministry of Education and Science of RF, Russian Academy of Arts and Ministry of Economic Development when drafting 2008 federal direct investment program shall foresee further federal allocations for reconstruction of buildings of the Russian Academy of Arts and technical equipment of its holdings included in the Program of Preparation and Activity in honor of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts.
5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall inform the UNESCO Secretariat on the Program of Preparation and Activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts.
6. The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of RF shall issue in 2007 postage stamps dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian Academy of Arts.
7. It should be taken in consideration, that the Moscow Government has an intent to take part in preparation and activities in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts.
