The Amur – the River of Friendship: Exhibition of Works by Masters of the Russian Academy of Arts

On August 13, 2015 in Blagoveschensk within the program of the 6th Festival of Russian-Chinese Fair of Culture and Art there was an opening of the exhibition of masters of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) entitled “The Amur – the River of Friendship” including works by Zurab Tsereteli, Vitali and Sergey Goryaev, Igor Obrosov, Vitali Petrov-Kamchatsky, Anatoli Levitin, Alexander Burganov, Evgeni Romashko, Konstantin Petrov, Natalia Anikina, Sergey Anufriev, Alexander Tikhomirov, Konstantin Kuzminykh and other talented artists from Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Khabarovsk, Blagoveschensk, Krasnoyarsk, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The opening ceremony was attended by the acting Governor of the Amur Region A.A. Kozlov, Deputy Minister of Culture G.P. Ivliev, members of the RAA Presidium – A.N. Burganov, K.V. Petrov, Deputy Head of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East Department of the S.E. Anufriev, RAA Academician N.I. Anikina, RAA Corresponding Member A.E. Tikhomirov, RAA Honorary Member Liu Min Sue, Chinese Deputy Minister of Culture Ding Wei, Deputy Governor of Heilongjiang Su De Shen.  

The exhibition arranged on the banks of the Amur River marking the border between the People’s Republic of China and Russia is one more contribution to  the development of cultural ties between the two nations.
