The 15th Annual Exhibition of Works by Graduates of Creative Workshops in Krasnoyarsk

The Creative Workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts in Krasnoyarsk were set up in 1987 and are the third entity of its kind in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg. Young artists-graduates of art institutions mostly from the regions of the Urals, Siberia and Far East are offered a three-year course of study, that is an equivalent to the a postgraduate program in other areas of education. The Creative Workshops in Krasnoyarsk are headed by the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician and Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Anatoly Levitin.

The graduates of the Creative Workshops obtain a degree of an Artist of Highest Qualification and the annual exhibitions of their works held since 1991 are an important stage in their creative biographies. This year the exhibition features almost 100 paintings including works by Vitaly Zotin, Maxim Rudnev, Valentina Solovieva who are holders of numerous awards of regional and All-Russia art shows and members of the Artists’ Union of Russia.
