M. Lermontov State Museum-Preserve in Pyatigorsk Hosts a Solo Show of Works by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Konstantin Petrov
M. Lermontov State Museum-Preserve presents over 35 paintings and graphic works by Konstantin Petrov, the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Advisor to the President of the Russian Academy of Arts, holder of the Order of Friendship.
Of major interest are his landscapes of Russia, series “Spain” and series “Derbent” on which the painter started working in 2011.
The opening ceremony will be attended by academicians and members of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, Chairman of the Artists’ Union of the Republic of Chechnya V. Umarsultanov, Chairman of the Artists’ Union of the Republic of Daghestan K. Magomedov, Rector of the Pyatigorsk State University A. Kaznacheev and others.
