Exhibition of Paintings by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Afanasy Osipov in Sergiev Posad
The House of Artists in Sergiev Posad presents a solo exhibition of paintings by Afanasy Osipov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, People’s Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation, Academician of the National Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, People’s Artist of Yakutia, Winner of I. Repin State Prize, President of Theological Academy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Honored Art Worker of Yakutia.
On display are numerous landscapes of Yakutia, Central Russia, foreign countries, as well as portraits and genre paintings produced by the artist in various years.
Afanasy Osipov is a renowned master of painting whose solo shows were in Egypt, France, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Rumania, Germany, Finland, Japan, People’s Republic of China, Mongolia. His works are in collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, National Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and other major museums in Russia and other counties.
