The Vologda State History and Architecture and Art Museum, Vologda, Russia

The Vologda State History and Architecture and Art Museum presents an exhibition of paintings by Vologda Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts in the 19th – early 21st century including the work by the portrait painter, Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts Platon Tyurin (1816-1882), People’s Artist of the Russian Academy of Arts, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Vladimir Korbakov, as well as Corresponding Members of the Russia Academy of Arts:

Honored Artist of Russia Valery Strakhov; People’s Artist of Russia Janna Tutujan and Honored Artist of Russia Yury Voronov.

The exhibition has been timed to the 125th anniversary of Peter I House-Museum, the first museum in Vologda.
