School of Modern Icon Painting: Exhibition in the Moscow State Academy Art Lyceum
Organized by the Moscow State Academy Art Lyceum in partnership with the Moscow Icon Painting Center “Russian Icon”, the show features works by teachers and students of the “Trinity” Orthodox Art School headed by Elena Knyazeva. The School was set up in 2004 with the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexi II on the territory of the Patriarch’s town residence with the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in Orekhovo-Borisovo district of Moscow.
