Works by Bruno Liberatore in Tsereteli Art Gallery

The Italian Embassy in Moscow, Italian Institute of Culture, Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Art present works by Bruno Liberatore. The exhibition has been supported by KMB Bank.

The topic of everlasting and eternal will never be exhausted in art. Each time obtaining new forms, it finds its realization in the classics of the past and in contemporary abstract art.

The abstract works by our contemporary Bruno Liberatore are devoted to essential sources of our existence, fundamental principles of the universe. At the same time in his compositions one can find associations with architectural forms, with themes of the nature and city (“Wall”, 1972-1975; “Obelisk”, 1978; “Triangle and Buttress”, 1999-2001; “Arch and Wall”, 1999, “Landscape”, 1990; “Concept of a Belfry”,  1995-1997;  “San Angelo Castle”, 1993 and others). The artist’s plastic images, organic or in opposition to the greatness of the Eternal City, are invariably connected with it being the same attributes as classical architecture or sculpture.
