Works by Zurab Tsereteli Are on Show in Kostroma
Organized by the Kostroma Region Administration, Culture Department of Kostroma Region and Russian Academy of Arts, the display in the Kostroma Historical and Architectural Art Museum-Preserve features paintings, drawings, enamels, serigraphs, models of monumental works by Zurab Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People’s Artist of the USSR, the Russian Federation and Georgia, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.
The solo exhibition explores the unique talent of the world renowned artist who is skilled in the various techniques and known for his artistic searches which he has been carrying on throughout the whole of his creative life. The master is constantly looking for new forms, themes and materials. In his works, which were created over several decades, visitors can always sense the artist’s striking temperament and passionate love of the people around him.
The display provides an unparalleled opportunity to see models of Zurab Tsereteli’s monuments that found their home in many countries.
