Solo Exhibition of Paintings by Victor Razgulin

Organized to mark the 60th anniversary of the renowned Moscow artist Victor Razgulin, the exhibition in the Russian Academy of Arts presents a retrospective of his paintings. 

Victor Razgulin has spent his childhood in the town of Gorodets, which is as old as  Moscow and Pereyaslavl Zalesski founded by Yuri  the Long Hands. Everything here reminds of the history of old Russia. The artist permanently feels this connection each time exploring something new when he is in contact with these mighty roots.

Visitors are sure to be fascinated by the painter’s canvases be it landscapes of his hometown or Gurzuf so much beloved by him and depicted in many of his paintings, or portraits of the artist’s relatives and close friends radiating warmth and happiness.  Razgulin has created his individual style of painting imbued with a sense of joy,  spirituality, national poetics and aesthetic beauty.  

Victor Razgulin has been a frequent exhibitor in international exhibitions. His solo exhibitions were held in France, Germany, United States, Belgium and other countries.  Razgulin’s work is in collections including the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum,  Moscow Museum of Modern Art, museums in many cities of CIS and Russia.
