Exhibition of Works by Igor Semennikov
On November 26, 2007 the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts became a showcase for a one-day exhibition of works by Honored Artist of Russia Igor Semennikov.
Igor Semennikov is a painter, designer, sculptor, member of the International Federation of the Creative Union of Russian Artists, member of the Russia-Belgium Friendship Association’s executive committee.
The opening ceremony for the exhibition comprising the artist’s paintings and drawings dedicated to Russia and Belgium was attended by representatives of the Belgium Embassy in Russia, vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts Dmitry Shvidkovski, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts Michael Busev, the artist’s associates.
